Public Funds and Alaska Charter Schools
Oct 10th, 2007 by Annette
I was asked in the comments section recently as to a specific example of a charter school where allotments were in the $2000 - $3000+ range.
Here it is: Family Partnership Charter School in Alaska. The highest amount that could be alloted is actually $3300.

Frontier Charter School, also in the Anchorage School District, offers up $2600. The difference between the two is Family Partnership requires that parents contract with a teacher. that money comes from the allotment. The cost is usually around $600. Frontier has teachers on staff.
Thanks, Lynn for stopping by and offering up your knowledge. I can’t do this blog or the yahoogroup without people such as yourselves who offer “on the ground” info.
Also, I appreciate your info on the Homeschool2.0 blog concerning AK’s statewide correspondence schools situation. I’ll work on noting the situation here this week.
Sincerely,
Annette
